Joy and Amy were relaxed (‘no stress here’ was the vibe) and capable guides on a journey I and 2 friends embarked on to learn to crochet. They combine years of experience, quality biscuits and endless drinks as they patiently guide you through the process. If you’ve always wanted to learn I’d recommend them wholeheartedly. Jane

Our aim is to teach people in a friendly environment, basic skills which they can take home and use their knowledge for other projects and expand their interests.
Description
Joy To Make is a fun and creative company specialising in sewing workshops, knitting and crochet workshops, tutorials and demonstrations. Our workshops are based across Leicestershire and the East Midlands.
We love teaching and demonstrating how to make fun and practical items such as cushions, curtains, clothes, bags, hats, scarf’s, wall hangings, bedspreads and much more!
Party Plans!
We can also provide bespoke party plan service, whether it is for a hen party sewing bee, baby shower, birthday, school, or work workshop, we can cater up to 15 people at a time.
Sewing Bees
We are setting up regular sewing bees throughout villages in Leicestershire, these are drop in sessions for people who want to come for advice and tuition, to enjoy the social side and sew or knit along side friends, we also provide refreshments and cake! Our sewing bees also have a small ‘pop up shop’ to buy basic haberdashery items, fabric and yarns.
